EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Former Boyfriend Registry represents one of the most sensitive files in the Karen Prime archive. It is also one of the most requested.

The Registry is a chronological index of documented romantic affiliations involving Karen Prime, spanning from the early emergence period through the present archival date. The full Registry is sealed. The excerpts below represent approved portions only.

Several individuals listed in the Registry have formally requested anonymity. These requests have been noted in the record. They have not been granted. The Karen Prime Historical Society maintains that historical accuracy supersedes individual comfort.

A smaller number of individuals listed in the Registry have requested that their entries be permanently deleted. These requests have been denied on archival grounds.

The Registry remains a living document. New entries are added as information is verified.

DETAILED RECORDS

Registry Structure

DOC-KP-ARC-007-001

The Former Boyfriend Registry is organized chronologically and includes the following data fields for each entry: designated identifier (names have been replaced with alphanumeric codes), approximate date range, classification of relationship status, documented incidents during the relationship period, and post-relationship behavioral observations.

The final field — post-relationship behavioral observations — is of particular archival interest. Researchers have noted a consistent pattern across Registry entries in which former boyfriends exhibit what has been termed "Permanent Recalibration Syndrome" — a documented long-term behavioral shift attributed to the Karen Prime relationship experience.

Symptoms of Permanent Recalibration Syndrome include but are not limited to: heightened awareness of tone, involuntary flinching at finger snaps, and an inability to enter a bagel store without elevated anxiety levels.

Entry Summary — Selected Excerpts

DOC-KP-ARC-007-002

SUBJECT BF-003: Duration approximately 14 months. Classified as "Significant." Subject reportedly attempted to establish boundaries during Month 3. Records indicate that the boundary establishment attempt lasted approximately forty-five seconds before being comprehensively overruled. Subject has declined interview requests. Current location: ████████.

SUBJECT BF-007: Duration approximately 6 months. Classified as "Transitional." Subject described by witnesses as "initially confident" and "eventually quiet." Post-relationship behavioral assessment indicates full Permanent Recalibration. Subject has not been located for testimony.

SUBJECT BF-011: Duration approximately 3 weeks. Classified as "Brief." Despite the short duration, this entry contains more documented incidents per day than any other Registry entry. Researchers consider BF-011 a statistically significant outlier. Subject's current whereabouts: UNKNOWN.

Statistical Analysis

DOC-KP-ARC-007-003

A preliminary statistical analysis of the Former Boyfriend Registry reveals several patterns of archival significance:

Average relationship duration: ████████ (REDACTED)

Percentage of subjects who requested anonymity: 87%

Percentage of subjects who relocated to a different borough post-relationship: 34%

Percentage of subjects who relocated to a different state post-relationship: 12%

Percentage of subjects who described the experience as "character-building": 100%

The 100% figure on the final metric is considered statistically notable.
